About

#TeamBob is made up of the family and friends of Bob Adams, who was cared for at Strathcarron earlier this year. Running the 10K is our way of saying a huge thank you to all the members of staff who cared for Bob and of raising money to ensure that other people can benefit from the same amazing support he received.

From the moment he arrived in the hospice, Bob was bowled over by the care, kindness and support he received from everyone working there. Perhaps most of all, every member of staff made sure that his final few weeks were as happy as possible, filled with fun and comfort.

The Hospice philosophy is about living until you die and the hospice staff ensured Bob lived each moment to the full. They also provided much needed comfort and support to us, his family and friends, when he  finally passed away on April 10th this year.

We have seen at first hand just how essential Strathcarron Hospice is to people with terminal illness and to their families. However, the level of care provided for each person does not come cheap, and the charity needs to raise approximately £15,000 a day to keep its services running.

Please support #TeamBob in our quest to raise moneny for Strathcarron Hospice. Just £24 can pay for one hour of nursing care and really will make a difference. Thank you.
